Recently a comment appeared on The Boards in a now-deleted thread, making an allegation about former Boards member curious. On review, Boards management has deleted the post, as the allegation was categorically untrue and not based in any way in fact.

On behalf of our membership and management, I wish to formally and unreservedly apologise to curious and his family for the hurt, stress and anguish caused by the comment. I do not agree with or condone the allegation, and believe this kind of comment has no place as part of discussions on our site.

At The Boards we want to promote an environment of intelligent, respectful discussion, and we expect our members to abide by the rules; posting abusive or defamatory material is a violation of our rules and will result in suspension or removal of your account. Management is taking steps to ensure that the member in question is appropriately punished for their action.

If you feel a post is problematic please click the Report button next to the post; this is the quickest way to draw moderator attention to your request. Please do not engage in argument with the poster, as this only serves to raise tensions, exacerbate the problem, and make the issue more difficult for us to address.
