I didn't think turnovers ranked at all. On the rules pages there is nothing about turnovers. Only 8 categories to be ranked.

that site is from last seasons games... and it does include TO's in the ladders

Because some lazy git forgot about them. Turnovers are in - make some trades to adjust your team if you're so concerned.

Comments for the week that was...
OCC continue to lead, however their lead was shaved to a single point on what was an average week for league leaders (see Division 1 (http://www.ozhoopsboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=4759&start=25))

Hellcat's Ledges climb to second, only dropping a single point (to 76) on the back of a reasonably average week...I suppose it's just the way to work it - have a decent week, but just better than everyone else up your end of the ladder :lol: 8)

Up one place and 5 points, it was The Invincibles who had a good week this week...the Paul Rogers and Larry Abney show helped, and Larry Davidson's 3 games and D-Mac's 11 assists helped Kingant's men make it a little further up the ladder this week...

Straight after TI we face Mike's Warriors, who dropped 7 points and 2 places...the good news is - they're still 4th! There's still a bit of flex in the Warriors stats, so a rebound should follow next week ;)

Funky Nah Nah's remain in fifth spot, but rise 5 points courtesy of a 14-game effort - Russ Hinder had 3 decent games and Rashard Tucker was pretty flash...oh, and a fella named James Harvey dropped 28 points on 55%.

Paris Reds went up 4 points this week and retained their sixth position - some decent put-ins from Anthony Stewart, Tony Ronaldson (22p 8r) and Willie Farley (38p 13r 9a 7st in 2 games) gave them their leg-up...pity they couldn't go up a spot though.

I'm starting to wonder whether I should divide Division 2 into "2A" and "2B", such is the gap between positions 1 to 6 and 7 to 12...

New Schoolers rise 2 places to 7th, rising 4 points to 49 points - and one wonders whether the tooth-infected Geordie Cullen could've helped Lethal Vertical's cause a little more...having Brad Newley and John Rillie on the side is always helpful for the 3 point stat, but it really hurts the field goal % - the Schoolers are last in Division 2 with an anaemic 41.1% from the field. :?

Team Generic are rising...7 points up but still in 8th spot, and there's still Matt Burston to come back into the mix! Dave Thomas (40p 14r in 2 games) and some decent assist stats from Nathan Crosswell (16 assists in 2 games) helped Da Houndawg's crowd up the ladder...

ConnoHawks got up 5 points on a 3-game effort from Ben Melmeth, 21 points & 15 boards from Baywatch, and a nice little contribution from "Don't Call me Brent" Bailey... 8)

The Scatmen fell a couple of points but stayed in tenth...average week...and keeping Damon Thornton in the centre spot ain't exactly going to do much for the stats. :?

I apologise for losing my 2 imports and starting PF and C to injury prior to round 1 results being released with only one of them back playing (if you can call what Bradley does as playing).

Perhaps if I hadn't been unceremoniously dumped from league 1 after 2 straight top 3 finishes I'd be more inclined to tinker with my roster under such circumstances...

One only makes the observations based on the stats...nothing more. As for Tovey over Horvath....well, as I think I said - something is better than nothing, considering that you get sweet FA for missed games at the end of the season. :?

I know Skindogs official stats arent out, but when they are, i think the top 6 teams in league 2 will be all within 5 points:
1. Hellcat - 75pts
2. Invincibles - 73pts
3. Mikes Warriors, Funky Nah Nah's and Paris Reds - all 72pts
6. OCC - 70pts

and then Team Generic in 7th, 21 points behind OCC.

Comments for the week that was...
Hellcat's Ledges returned to the lead after Madcat's 5-week reign, with a 7-game effort comprising good efforts from Matt Campbell (18p), Scott McGregor (8p 12r & 12p 4r) and Brett Maher (23p 6a 5r) pushing the Ledges to the number one spot.

The Invincibles also dropped a point this week, however became 2nd place after Kingant's charges contributed 9 games. Tony Rampton's 22-point 21-rebound effort, paired with Larry Abney's 21 points & 10 boards helped offset a disappointing Ben Knight (5p 6r) and Aaron Grabau (1 point 2 rebounds against West Sydney).

Paris Reds were the big improvers this week, jumping to third and going to 72 points behind good performances from Jason Smith (25p 7a 5r), Tait Decker (22p 11r) and Anthony Stewart (24p 6r), almost making you gloss over the fact that the other Taipan on the books (Gary Boodnikoff) had a shocker (3p 1r 3to). I suppose that's the good point of having all those Snakes on the roster - you're at least guaranteed one good performance a week!

Mike's Warriors climb a point and join the Reds and Funky Nah Nah's at equal third this week.

The Funky Nah Nah's played 10 games themselves this week - the most in Division 2. FNN jumped 3 points to form a powerful triumvirate at third place - the performances of Dusty Rychart (20p 15r), Rashard Tucker (21p 7r 6a & 28p 12r 6a) telling in MacTav's crew's improve.

OCC spend just a week at the top, falling 7 points to 70 and sixth position in Division 2A. :lol: With Paul Henare and Aaron Olsen having a bye and all other players only playing 1 game, Madcat's crew were always behind the 8-ball. Adam Ballinger came good (16 points, 5 rebounds) but Troy Pilon failed to contribute much with just 3 points and 3 boards. David Bailey's misfiring habits (3-of-17 against the Pirates) didn't help either. :? The man on the bench - Ian Crosswhite - might have helped a little though.

Team Generic head up "Division 2B", 20 points adrift of sixth-placed OCC - even though they gained a point this week. Still missing Matt Burston, steady performances by Dave Thomas, Darnell Mee and a cameo from Jacob Holmes (18p 13r 3a) got Houndawg's charges to the "best of the rest"

New Schoolers drop a point on a 10-game effort - although not a lot of "effort" for what it's worth - John Rillie's 2-of-9 5 point, 4 rebound effort unfortunately not giving much help to Lethal Vertical's cause. :?

Skindog's ConnoHawks dropped 3 points, however stayed in ninth position - Glen Saville's average contribution and Ben Castle's close-to-trillion being a reflection of the ConnoHawks' sum this week. :? All was not lost though - at least Baywatch Bobby and Ben Melmeth fired :D

The Scatmen stay at 42 points and equal tenth place - hopefully when they replace Damon Thornton they may actually move northwards. :?

The Stone Cutting Sydney Kings move up to 42 points (from 39) and into equal tenth with Scatmen.

SOLAT hold up the rear this week, dropping 4 points on a poor performances from Odell Bradley (2 points on 0/3) and getting little from Luke Kendall and Mark Worthington...when's Nick Horvath back again???

FYI - I have added the "promotion zone" marker - the top 2 teams in Division 2 are guaranteed a spot in next year's Division 1 FNBL competition.

The top 8 teams in Division 1 plus the top 2 teams from Division 2 will make up next season's Division 1 FNBL.

If one of the top 8 sides from Division 1 does not re-enter next season, the third-placed Division 2 side will be elevated, with the ninth-ranked side from Division 1 being the next eligible team for re-entry (if a second of the Top 8 does not re-enter).

I kept the spreadsheet up to date over the last 2 rounds (including changes people made to their lineups) - but I cant garauntee thats its 100%.

PS - And to Solat (Fly) who will also regain his Div 1 spot after overcomng the season ending injury to Nick Horvath & the departure of Odell Bradley to still finish mid table proving that his back to back top 2 finishes in Div 1 were no fluke and his demotion was unjustifiable, an oversight that is certain to be corrected.
