Ok - so far I see a young kid who is a little but out of his element. I keep hearing about this feel for the game etc but I am not convinced yet

Well, I know an opposition import player who thinks he's got a lot of promise. And he is only just back from major injury...

Exactly he is just returning from a very serious car accident, didnt have a pre-season and is stillyoung. He has shown a bit of what he can do but think he will be a much better player next season. Any game he plays this season is just a bonus.

You have no idea what he has been thru.......

Most people would be lucky to be walking at this stage.

Anyone who has seen him play in the past knows he has the offensive skills to play the game ie shooting, visiblity, speed, passing etc.
The only questions have ever been on defense and strength to play at the NBL level.

Judging anything until next season is just stupid.

I think the kid's got game! He seems super smart for a young PG, has good vision, isn't afraid to take a shot (even though he is only minutes into his NBL career)... and all this with the body and look of a 12 y/o girl.

The kid will be great when he get's more games under his belt and develops into a 'man'...

He's raw and still very young. One need only look back to the similarly minimal impact that CJ and Catt had in their rookie year at a similar age to realise that he will get there gradually.

search online for images of the wreckage that remains of his car or the screws in his pelvis and then tell me he's a disappointment.

He is lucky to be alive little own playing basketball.

He'll be fine with more time and a proper off season under his belt

i'm impressed he is getting playing time as i have known of other slightly built players with as much or more talent whose coaches don't let em have a shot.

I would say that compared to al the other 18 year olds playing in the NBL this year he his head and shoulders above the rest.
Seriously though the couple of games I have seen him in he does not look out of place at all.

Considering he is:

A) Lucky to be alive
B) Lucky to be walking
C) Back and playing months before doctors even expected him to be

He is terrific shows allot of promise and provided he is coached correctly and stays injury free could be a 15 year verteran easily. As others have said he is raw but I can see his potential he has done some impressive things even thus far considering his circumstances.

It's absolutely fantastic to see his recovery.
However, now the hard work begins as the honeymoon period will end.
Now he has to handle a lot of pressure.
He'll be fine if the critics don't forget he's brand new.
