Rubbish, and I am suprised Boti would fall for it. This is clearly his agent talking rubbish to try and get the Breakers to sign him. Penney's contract hasn't been rescinded yet (I don't think) so I don't see how they can formally sign a full time replacement until that roster spot is cleared, anyway.

Moldavan is a slimeball who would plant this type of stuff to force Breakers management's hand.

I was surprised that if Wortho plays for the Breakers this season that would create NBL history as the first player to play with four different teams in consecutive seasons, I would've thought someone like Ben Knight might've already done that.

I believe that Knight played consecutive seasons for KINGS, MAGIC, BULLETS CROCS and
TAIPANS from 1997, onwards.

I've got no doubt the story is credible. Any club that can accomodate CJ "Show Me The Money" Bruton can land Wortho no probs...

Of course if Penney does leave then their is a LOT more money available for Worthington.
CJ might be jealous. ;)

Why would CJ be jealous? He just plays for the love of the game which we're told is the reason why he crammed in that stint in Puerto Rico a couple of months ago, came out of it with some sort of injury and then retired from international basketball right on the eve of the Boomers departing for the WC's.

Signing Wortho would appear a bit of a risk in some respects as he's a lot shorter than 206cm, and there's already a query over the Breakers size and strength. On the other hand, he's similar to Ronaldson, who flourished at the Breakers and likewise Wortho could fit into their style well.

Apparently Wortho is close to signing with the same Serbian team as Steven Markovic...

What the...... How can they afford him? Does he even fit under their points cap? They already have 10 players signed aswell (Yes, I know they can have 11)....

So I guess this means that I will be cheering for the opposition team any time I get to a game on the Coast huh?

Heh... didn't Peach and Wortho always have a bit of niggly tustle anytime they played each other in the past? That'll make for fun training sessions :D

Has anyone done the points calculation on this possibility?
