I just read the article on the nbl site about the new stadium. It seems so many sports have their own sports code branded stadium such as the State Netball and Hockey Centre, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Football Stadium, etc, so its finally good to have a purpose built "Basketball" stadium. Two new quality basketball venues, one in WA and now Victoria. The only thing I was unsure about was the mention of a capacity of 3,200. Would have been ideal imo to have a minimum of 4,000, but I guess this may be the place to do for basketball what the Glasshouse did in the 80's and early 90's. Either way, well done to the govt for pumping some cash into basketball. Alot of positive news coming in lately!

and even better that the stadium in Knox is just a 5 minute drive from me. It beats heading into the city.
