It only a matter of time until another line is introduced on the court behind which a 5pt shot may be scored. Secret talks between world administrators indicate that this line will be somewhere between the existing 3pt arc and the half court line - probabaly closer to the latter. They are looking at introducing this in time for the 2012 olympics.

Such a rule would almost certainly improve Australia's chances of capturing an Olympic medal. Efforts should be made to boost our stock of 5-point shooters. Don't see this rule not being passed; such was the fate of the blindfolded foul shot.

aussieBaller - i find your attitude a little disturbing. I am not talking out of my behind as you so eloquently put it. This idea is not mine and is certainly not fantasy. It is already in the pipeline and is being given serious consideration by the powers that be. As I said, if things go as planned it will be introduced in time for the 2012 olympic games.
