Couple of notable stats.

Hawks 8-9 from three point range.
Foul count 6 to the Hawks 1 to the Dragons. The Dragons only picking up their first foul with 31secs to go in the 1st. Hard to imagine how a team that plays up and in "D" like they do only commiting their first foul after 11 and a 1/2 minutes.

Hawks up 48-45 at the half. Going by the live scores the game seems to be settling into a much more Dragonesque style of game, lots of missed shots, lots of turnovers and lots of fouls by both teams.
Glad to see the Hawks responding after a poor performance on Wed night.

Tend to agree there. Campbell has 4 fouls at half time and Tait appears to have had a far more productive first half, yet he still goes with Campbell.

Dragons just blew it out from a 5-point game (hawks in possession) to a 14-point game in three minutes..

Now 5mins left in the 4th.

thankfully its over. and so should cook's coaching career be. he will wax on about an improved effort. good games by saville and franklin and the dragons being a superior team. he will moan about the loss of petrie for two crucial games. there will be no acknowledgement that he was lacking in his own role... saville is rendered ineffective by the amount of minutes he is required to play even when he is going badly.
Kavossy has to be moved out of the point and probably to the bench. Tait should be getting more minutes when it matters most... not a slab at the end of the game when the match is well over.
Martin was signed as the 10th player on this roster and continues to be used in the three guard rotation which has never been effective. park him back on the bench and use him for impact and to rest tait.
Trigger is not a starter. his performance last year was due to a number of problems with the imports which strangely enough the coach should carry the can for - he selected them. this inflated traggardh's minutes and the way he plays (never passing the ball) was always going to make for points or turnovers. this year unfortunately it is turnovers
petrie needs more minutes and its unfortunate he did not get to play against the competion leaders in either game.
campbell, as much as i like him, may be past his prime as a starter and needs to be used from the bench where he can come on and hit his shots and not be burned out with the toughest defensive assignment for which he is now not able to handle.
before this game cook once again hinted at changes being made to the starters - and once again there was no change.
i would like to say there is always next year, but i don't think there is. and i am heartbroken by that. the hawks will go out with a whimper and yet at the start of the season we had a very good team on paper - wtf happened?

Five game loosing streak. Time to make a change. Tait and Petrie (if he's right to go) come into the starting lineup for Matty and Tragardh. Even though Tait has been very eratic, its time to see how he goes with the starting spot.

The refs were woeful tonight. Allowing horvath to take 2 shots, that was clearly vukona who was fouled. Well done dragons there coming out of a time out and horvath going straight to the ft line. the other was wortho was fouled screening ingles 3. Ingles makes it, points count then giving the bonus to wortho. WTF. Even the crowd knew it was 2 shots. Ray hunt is a f whit. Mills is worse. The other one I don;t think made a call all night.

I agree. These people should have been glued to their tv's last night, watching channel 504.

But if it wasn't on, they should be well away from their computers because they are no help whatsoever in providing live scores and updates etc.
